City of artisans to build in Turkestan

A unique tourist complex with workshops of artisans will be built in the cultural and spiritual center of the city of Turkestan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of the Turkestan region.

The goal is not only to attract tourists and develop entrepreneurship, but also to preserve culture and heritage.

The new project was discussed at a meeting chaired by the akim of the Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy. The total area of the craft town will be about nine thousand square meters.Hotels and restaurants, exhibition rooms, showrooms will also be built in the town.

The potential of artisans in Turkestan is enormous. The project of the new town, which will be located in the center of Turkestan, is unique.
