In accordance with the instructions of the akim of the Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy, the deputy akim of the region Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, the head of the regional department of agriculture Nurbek Badyrakov and the chairman of the board of the Turkestan Invest institution Berik Kenzhebaev visited the Republic of Tajikistan, El.kz reports with reference to the akimat of the Turkestan region.
The purpose of the business trip is to get acquainted with the enterprises of the Chinese company "Xinjiang Lihua (Group) Co., Ltd", located in Tajikistan, a cotton processing plant and drip irrigation technology. Chinese investors invested 400 million tenge in Tajikistan. To date, eight companies operate here, providing jobs for 7,800 people.
It turns out that the neighboring country has its own technology for processing cotton. Cotton is grown on 15 hectares and products are produced there. 6-8 tons of cotton are obtained from one hectare.
Starting next year, with the financing of a Chinese private investor, a cotton processing plant will be built in the Turkestan region. This was announced last week by the akim of the Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy and the president of Xinjiang Lihua (Group) Co.Ltd Zhang Qihai.
