Deputy Akim of Aktobe region Abzal Abdikarimov met with the leadership of the ZHONG MAO GROUP from China, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akim of the region.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of investment cooperation in subsoil use and the manufacturing industry.
Zhong Mao Group, which has successful experience in mechanical engineering and energy, expressed its intention to attract more investment, modern technologies and qualified personnel to the Aktobe region.
"In general, local and Chinese investors will direct their resources to support the metallurgical industry, i.e. in the extraction of nickel-cobalt ores and the production of high-tech products with high added value and meeting the growing demand for nickel resources, which, in turn, will contribute to the development of the economy of the Aktobe region," the report says.
