Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageFrom the first decade of January 2023, the Chinese side removes the previously introduced restrictive and quarantine measures on the Kazakh-Chinese section of the state border, El.kz news agency reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chinese side intends to accept vehicles with a return to the pre-pandemic format of transportation with the possibility of entry of vehicles into the territory of China. At the same time, drivers of motor vehicles are required to have visas, PCR tests, as well as their vehicles must comply with international standards.
As a result of the lifting of restrictions at the border, the requirements for the characteristics of motor vehicles, which were previously established by the Chinese side, led to discontent among a number of participants in foreign economic activity, who, during the strict requirements for motor vehicles, incurred certain costs for the conversion of vehicles.
On January 9, 2023, in order to ensure coordination of the work of interested parties, the management staff of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Kalzhat checkpoint.
During the workshop, together with the border service, local executive bodies and carriers, the necessary explanations were given on the procedure for passing customs procedures, as well as crossing the state border.
