Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageKazakhstan has launched a project to modernize charging stations for electric vehicles, El.kz reports citing Kazakh Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Its implementation is carried out by Adele Energy Qazaqstan LLP with the support of the Science Foundation.
The main goal of the initiative is to improve charging stations through the introduction of intelligent monitoring and control systems. New technologies will increase the efficiency of chargers and make the charging process more convenient and safer.
The project provides for the integration of many technical solutions, including data exchange with the BMS of the electric vehicle, transmission of information to the server via LTE, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, remote software updates, voltage and current monitoring, as well as monitoring of emergency situations. These technologies will help to avoid network congestion and reduce possible risks associated with the use of chargers.
To date, 16 modernized charging stations have already been installed in Kazakhstan, of which 14 are located in Astana and 2 in Almaty. Their number is expected to increase as infrastructure develops.
The project is aimed at supporting environmentally friendly transport and reducing emissions of harmful substances. The creation of a convenient and reliable network of charging stations will increase the popularity of electric vehicles in the country and bring Kazakhstan closer to international standards of sustainable development.
