The capital's ethno-cultural centers held New Year's matinee.
In particular, the Armenian Ethno Cultural Center ‘VAN’ organized a festive Christmas tree for children and parents of the Armenian Sunday School. A representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Republic of Kazakhstan Artur Manaseryan and Gulnara Taigokova, chief specialist of Nur-Sultan APK delivered speech at the event. Entertainment songs and national dances were performed by the youth of the Ethnocultural Center. At the end of the evening the children were presented with gifts.
In turn, the capital public association of Germans "Wiedergeburt" also celebrated the coming New Year. A big Christmas concert was held on the stage of the Palace of Schoolchildren. In colorfully decorated atmosphere one could notice fairytale heroes. The vocal groups "Wunderkind", "Spate Blumen", "Begeisterung" and others performed cheerful holiday songs, while the audience could see the dances "Jolly Poland", "In der Weihnachtsbackerei", "Winter Waltz" performed by dancers from the ethnocultural centre.
In a concert hall of the capital House of Friendship, the Uzbek ethno-cultural centre of Nur-Sultan presented a New Year's concert program. During the event, children were presented with gifts. Talented children from Sunday school ‘Zie’ not only sang and danced, but also played interesting games with their parents.
Meanwhile, "Association of Ukrainians "Obereg" organized a charity event "Give joy to children". On New Year's Eve, children from low-income families received Christmas gifts. The Ukrainian Sunday school "Ridne Slovo" also held a New Year's morning "Winter Entertainment". The children sang songs, danced, participated in contests and led roundelays. Father Frost congratulated everyone on the holiday and presented the children with New Year gifts.
