The third headliner of Central Asia’s largest culture festival will be British actor and martial arts expert Scott Adkins, El.kz reports citing the festival’s press service.

He is well known to audiences for his roles in Marvel films, John Wick: Chapter 4, The Expendables 2, as well as for portraying Yuri Boyka in the cult Undisputed franchise.

Comic Con Astana 2025 is scheduled to take place from July 9 to 13  at the Astana Arena stadium and the Barys Arena ice complex. This year’s festival is the largest in its history, expanding the diversity of international guests and, for the first time, featuring three Hollywood headliners.

These include Scott Adkins, Andy Serkis, and Esai Morales.

In addition, the festival will host a presentation of the international project La Tregua (The Truce) — the first co-production between Kazakhstan and Spain made for global release and international streaming on Netflix.
