Blasting operations continue on rivers of Karaganda region

Since March 22, blasting operations and loosening of ice on the rivers have begun in the Karaganda region, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of the Karaganda region.

Water is discharged from Samarkand and Intumak reservoirs - with a flow rate of 8-15 cubic meters.

In the region, the cleaning of culverts and bridges was completed. In settlements, snow removal, cleaning of canals and channels continues.

According to the RSE "Kazhydromet", at the end of the third decade of March, a gradual increase in air temperature is expected. Residents are asked to remove snow in the yards of their homes.
