GM Vaishali Rameshbabu won the 2025 FIDE Women's Grand Swiss for a second time in a row. Kateryna Lagno (8 points) took the second place.GM Bibisara Assaubayeva took third despite letting a huge advantage slip against GM Anna Muzychuk.
Bibisara Assaubayeva is a Kazakhstani chess player, Women’s Grandmaster (WGM). She was born in 2004 in Taraz. As a child, she became the world and Asian champion among girls, and in 2021 she won the Women’s World Blitz Championship. She is among the strongest female chess players in the world, represents the Kazakhstan national team, and is considered one of the country’s most promising athletes.
