Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageThe Acting Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan signed an order according to which a ban on the export of sugar from the country is introduced until August 31, 2024, El.kz reports.
The order, signed on June 11, 2024, concerns the export of cane or beet sugar, as well as chemically pure sucrose in a solid state. The restrictions apply to all destinations, including the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Exceptions are transit supplies of sugar through Kazakhstan, as well as the movement of sugar from the territory of one EAEU member state to the territory of another EAEU member state through Kazakhstan.
The new order came into force today, June 14, 2024.
