Within the framework of the official visit, the delegation led by the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov visited the Military Institute of the Ground Forces. The foreign guests were accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant-General Sultan Kamaletdinov, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The participants of the event laid flowers at the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Halyk Kaharmany No. 1 to the first Minister of Defense of Independent Kazakhstan, Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov, whose name is given to the military university.
Representatives of the military department of Azerbaijan got acquainted with the organization of the educational process, physical training of cadets, with the library fund of the university and the exhibits of the museum of the Military Institute of the Ground Forces.
In the training and laboratory complex, Azerbaijani specialists inspected simulators for fire training and driving of combat vehicles, equipment of classes for studying the T-72, BMP-2, BTR-80, BMP-2 devices.
Particular interest was shown in domestic simulators, on which cadets are engaged. The guests highly appreciated their capabilities to ensure a high-quality learning process.
They were also presented with classes where computer and tactical training of specialists is carried out, classes are held on military topography, technical and software means of communication are mastered.
Foreign colleagues highly appreciated the educational and material base and educational technologies used in the training of cadets of the Military Institute of the Ground Forces.
