The goal of the project is to create infrastructure for cross-border trade in renewable electricity between the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, and in the future, to export "green" energy to Europe through the Black Sea.
The project involves the creation of an integrated energy system and the development of a regulatory framework for energy trading.
The Caspian Green Energy Corridor is expected to not only enhance the energy security and resilience of the participating countries, but also become an important part of the global transition to clean energy sources.
