Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan received international award

During the symposium on air transport "Global connectivity problems" in Montreal (Canada), the aviation administration of Kazakhstan received the "Air Transport News Corporate Award", which is a recognition by the international aviation community of the work carried out on the transition to a new model of civil aviation management in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by members of the ICAO Council, the ICAO Secretariat, aviation authorities of various countries, IATA, CANSO, ACI World, TIACA, iPADIS and the largest international air carriers took part.

The award was presented to the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Canada Akylbek Kamaldinov.

"The Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan is a young regulatory body that was established just three years ago with the ambitious goal of becoming an effective aviation authority based on the best international practices," the agency said.

Since April last year, the new management, represented by Director General Catalin Radu and Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Lastayev, managed to strengthen the supervisory capabilities of AAK, which was recognized by various international audits and assessments.

The ATN Corporate Award represents the highest level of international recognition of the industry and will encourage the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan to follow their ambitious goals and realize their full potential for the benefit of the civil aviation industry of our country.
