Astana to host Pink Run

As a part of the annual international health campaign Pink October, held every October to educate the public and raise funds for research into the disease's cause, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, the Pink Run race will be held in Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the capital's akimat.

The social and sports event will begin at 9:00 am on October 19. Anyone can join the participants for free. The race distances are 1.3 km and 3.9 km.

The Pink Run is not just a sporting event, but a symbol of hope, strength and unity, as well as an opportunity to draw public attention to the need for regular medical examinations.

The race is organized with the support of the Akimat of Astana and sponsors of the event.
