Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageFrom October 20 to 24, the capital will host the National Animation Week — a major celebration for everyone who grew up watching Kazakh cartoons, El.kz reports.
All screenings are set to start at 4:00 PM at the Central Concert Hall "Kazakhstan” where viewers will be treated to the best works of domestic animation — from digitized classics to the latest creations by contemporary directors.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to see how national animation is evolving, preserve generational continuity, and relive familiar stories from childhood.
The project is organized by the Kazakh Animation creative association under the Shaken Aimanov Kazakhfilm Studio, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
National Animation Week promises to be an cultural event in the capital, reminding everyone that Kazakh animation is not just children’s entertainment, but an important part of our culture and history.
