Astana to host international conference on family, demographic and gender policy

The international scientific conference on family, demographic and gender policy will be held in Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the Prisident of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event will be held from 17 to 18 November 2022.

The main directions of the conference will be:

• A safe and secure childhood.
• The future of the family institution in Kazakhstan.
• Prospects for demographic development of Kazakhstan.
• Reproductive rights and family planning.
• Countering gender-based and domestic violence in Kazakhstan.
• Kazakhstan: Towards Gender Equality.

Within the framework of the scientific conference, a special collection will be released. Articles for the collection will be accepted until December 23, 2022 on the main areas of the conference. The article should be sent to the e-mail address: family_conference22@kipd.kz.
