Astana to host Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation

The Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation will be held from 3 to 5 September 2024 in Astana, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the department.

Within the framework of the conference, Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day will be held, which will be a unique opportunity for IT companies, startups and government organizations of Kazakhstan to present their advanced digital solutions.

"Holding the Asia-Pacific Conference in Astana emphasizes the strategic importance of Kazakhstan as a leader in the field of digitalization and innovation. The conference will also contribute to the development of international partnerships, and help to increase the export of IT products and support the country's economic growth. One of the key results of the conference will be the adoption of the Astana Ministerial Declaration, which will strengthen our position in the region," said Madiyev Zhaslan, Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of Kazakhstan Tech Solution Day, innovative projects such as SmartBridge (service showcase), Smart Data Ukimet (smart data government) and eOtinish will be presented. Participants are set to get acquainted with the achievements of the largest innovation center in Central Asia - the Astana Hub International Technopark.

The Asia-Pacific Conference brings together delegations from more than 50 countries, including ministers for digitalization and IT, representatives of international organizations, the private sector and civil society. The first two days of the conference include plenary sessions, side events, bilateral meetings between ministers and the signing of memoranda and agreements.
