From October 25 to 29, 2025, Kazakhstan’s capital will host one of the biggest sporting events of the year — the first President’s Open Cup in table tennis. The tournament will take place at Beeline Arena and bring together top players from Kazakhstan and abroad,  El.kz reports.

The event is organized by Nomad Table Tennis Academy with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan Table Tennis Federation. The prize fund amounts to $115,000 USD.

International Scale and Top Players

The Cup will feature over 250 athletes, around 50 coaches, and 30 referees. Participants include players from Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, Karaganda, as well as from South Korea, China, Hungary, Egypt, Malaysia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.

Players ranked in the ITTF Top 100 have also confirmed their participation, making the tournament a truly international event.
