In Astana, the number of cat hotels and temporary pet care services has been growing each year. On average, there are about 3 to 5 specialized facilities in the city where pet owners can leave their cats while they are away, El.kz reports.

Typically, these cat hotels offer individual rooms, daily cleaning, scheduled feeding, video surveillance, and even photo updates for the owners. A veterinary passport with vaccination records and parasite treatment is usually required before boarding.

Home-style pet sitting is also popular, where cats are cared for in private homes or apartments.

Another option involves a sitter visiting the cat at the owner’s home to provide care there. These services are often arranged on an individual basis and offered through dedicated platforms.

Prices range from 1,500 to 3,000 tenge per day, depending on the conditions, service format, and length of stay. It is recommended to book in advance, especially during the vacation season.
