In 2024, the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the Spiritual Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims, will come on March 11, Monday. The Spiritual Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims has also published a calendar with a 2024 schedule for all cities in Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.
The month of Ramadan will last until April 9, 2024. The next day, April 10, the Oraza Ait holiday will begin. An important moment of Ramadan is the Night of Destiny, which this year falls on the night of April 5-6.
TheSpiritual Administration of Kazakhstan’s Muslims also set the amount of fitr sadaqah (mandatory alms) for 2024, which will be 640 tenge. These funds are traditionally used to help those in need within the framework of the religious precepts of Islam.
