BALA MUSIC FEST is not just a series of concerts, but a true celebration of music and creativity for children from different regions of our country. The concept of the republican festival is to open the doors for young talents into the world of professional art, inspire children to be creative and support them in their musical development, El.kz cites astanaopera.kz.

The first concert of the festival, entitled Baroque for Adults and Children, will be held on May 9 at the Kulyash Baiseitova Chamber Hall. Astana Opera will bring together young musicians from Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar and other cities of Kazakhstan. All the children are laureates of international competitions who will demonstrate their skills and will certainly inspire others by their example.

Young artists will wear colourful costumes and fluffy wigs in the Baroque style. Elements of transformation will be a way to get used to the atmosphere of that distant time and create a truly magical performance. Little stars will perform musical works and thereby plunge into the history and culture of the Baroque era.

We are very glad that our initiative, the First Children’s Festival BALA MUSIC FEST, is receiving a republican scale. Talented children from Almaty, namely from two republican specialized music schools – the Kulyash Baiseitova and the Akhmet Zhubanov schools, and from the specialized music school of Pavlodar, will come to perform at Astana Opera, along with students of KazNUA,” Marzhan Zhakenova, the organiser of the festival, emphasized.

“There is no need to prove that any stage performance gives children creative growth, they gain performing experience, and feel like real musicians. Participation in the festival inspires, motivates children for new achievements, and it is always an interesting creative communication. The children’s successes in mastering the skills of playing an instrument or secrets of vocal training is, of course, the result of enormous work by both children, teachers, and parents. Therefore, we can consider that a performance at Astana Opera is a kind of reward for their work. And for the viewers it is a great celebration of music,” Marzhan Zhakenova, the director of the Literary and Musical Work Department and head of the Kulyash Baiseitova Chamber Hall, concluded.

The festival will continue with other exciting concert programs, including Youth and Inspiration, an evening that will be presented to the audience’s attention on May 10 at 7 PM, as well as the Rainbow of Talents, scheduled for May 19 at 3 PM.

Thus, BALA MUSIC FEST will give all viewers the opportunity to find something special for themselves – be it the young musicians’ virtuoso performances or an inspiring atmosphere of creativity.
