Astana airport warns of possible flight cancellation due to bad weather

In connection with the announced storm warning on January, 10 flights may be canceled or delayed. Between 14:00 and 20:00, the wind speed can reach from 22 m/s to 27 m/s, El.kz reports citing the press service of the Astana International Airport.

-  Now there is heavy snowfall at the airport airfield, wind speed is 10 m/s, wind gusts up to 15 m/s. Today, 75 flights are planned at the capital's airport. 7 flights are delayed due to airline technical reasons. No delays or cancellations of flights due to bad weather were recorded, the report says.
