Around 10,000 guests expected to attend Lotus Festival in Atyrau region

The LOTUSFEST-2026 festival will be held on 15–16 August in the village of Teniz, Atyrau region. Around 5,000 tourists attended the inaugural festival last year. This year, approximately 10,000 guests are expected to attend the event. according to the Regional Communications Service, El.kz reports.

The two-day festival programme will feature concerts with performances by prominent pop artists, sports competitions and a variety of entertainment activities.

On the first day, a regional tourism competition will be held. The format of the competition provides for participants to stay overnight and take part in the programme scheduled for the second day.

On 15 August, the LOTUS FLOTILLA boat parade and the LotusRUN marathon will take place. Marathon participants will run from the village of Zhambyl to the festival venue. This will be followed by the official opening ceremony of the festival.

The festival venue will feature photo zones, a children’s playground, a fair showcasing works by traditional and applied arts craftsmen, retail pavilions and a food court. Guests will also have the opportunity to take boat rides and enjoy the surrounding natural environment.
