Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageOver 300 athletes from 18 countries took part in the championship in Baku, organized by the International Military Sports Council CISM and the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
Greco-Roman wrestler Amangali Bekbulatov defeated athletes from Iran, Russia and Turkey in the 55-kilogram weight category. In the decisive match, he defeated the wrestler from Azerbaijan Farid Sadikli and became the winner of the World Championship among military personnel.
In freestyle wrestling, Rustem Mirzagaliyev (79 kg), Ainur Ashimova (57 kg) and Irina Kuznetsova (62 kg) climbed to the second step of the podium. Kazakh wrestlers Nursultan Azov (125 kg), Meirzhan Ashirov (70 kg), Adil Ospanov (65 kg) and Daulet Temirzhanov (57 kg) became bronze medalists.
It should be noted that the team of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan was represented by 19 wrestlers in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
