Ancient artefact found in Akmola region

Employees of department of emergency situations of Sandyktau district during the preventive measure "Orman" discovered the ancient artifact, El.kz reports.

The artifact is a human face carved in stone.

The Department of Emergency Situations of the Akmola region has taken the stone under its protection.

Today, it is difficult to determine the era to which the monument belongs.

The opinions of scientists are divided. Some claim that the stone has been in its current location since the Bronze Age, others attribute it to the Turkic period. According to one of the scientists, there is a similarity with the finds found in Siberia. Further study will decide which of the opinions is correct, but even now we can say that the monument has the great historical value.
