The Ambassador of Kazakhstan Almaty Aidarbekov met with the Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavriliţă, El.kz reports with reference to MFA.
The Ambassador informed about the political reforms carried out by the leadership of Kazakhstan, the socio-economic situation, the development of the financial and banking system, the created favorable climate for attracting investments.
Speaking about the development of bilateral cooperation, A. Aidarbekov said that September 16 this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and noted the need to hold the 6th meeting of the Kazakh-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in 2023 in Nur-Sultan.
The Kazakh diplomat also congratulated the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova on the country's status of a candidate of EU membership, noting the merit of the Government in this process.
In turn, the Prime Minister informed about the implementation by the Government of Moldova of a number of reforms, the upcoming major forums of the business week in Chisinau in September this year. N. Gavrilita warmly welcomed the opening of the Embassy and the chairmanship in the CIS, which this year passed to Kazakhstan, stressed the interest in the further development of bilateral relations.
During the conversation, the parties noted the high level of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Moldova, interest in further strengthening cooperation in trade, economic, as well as in cultural and humanitarian spheres.
