Almaty akimat and China Exim Bank discuss funding for metro expansion

Akim of Almaty Erbolat Dossaev met with President of China Exim Bank (Export-Import Bank of China) Wang Chunying as part of his visit to China, El.kz reports with reference to administration office of Almaty.

The meeting discussed the funding of infrastructure projects, in particular, the expansion of the city's metro network.

Erbolat Dossaev stressed the importance of cooperation and readiness to discuss the terms of financing, the statement said.

Wang Chunying noted that the bank has 16 years of experience in Kazakhstan and is ready to support projects in the field of road infrastructure. The parties expressed their intention to further strengthen the partnership.

China Exim Bank has representative offices and branches in various countries. The State Bank supports China's foreign trade, investment, and international economic cooperation.
