Kazpost JSC and AliExpress CIS have entered into a partnership agreement to promote the development of cross-border trade, taking into account the rapid development of e-commerce both in Kazakhstan and on a global scale, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Kazpost.

One of the key stages of cooperation will be the launch of a logistics channel from the Chinese city of Shanghai to Kazakhstan. This will allow AliExpress CIS customers to get quick access to the marketplace's products and significantly reduce the delivery time of orders. Customers will be able to receive their parcels at the nearest Kazpost branch convenient for them anywhere in the country. The project is planned to be implemented in the first quarter of 2024.

Recently, Kazpost opened one of its largest logistics centers in Astana with an area of more than 10,000 square meters and an annual capacity of 6 million parcels. In the near future, it is planned to build similar logistics hubs in the city of Aktobe, as well as in the Turkestan and Almaty regions.
