The Kazakhstani met with the Czech athlete Tomas Machac (65th racket of the world) and won in three sets with a total score of 2:6, 6:3, 7:6. The game lasted one hour and 59 minutes. The match was held at the stage of the 1/16 finals.
During the game, Bublik served seven times and made six double faults. The Kazakh tennis player also won 12 points and three games in a row.
