An apple orchard appeared in Nur Sultan. The capital's youth planted 800 seedlings in the Botanical Garden.
As it was said earlier, all eight varieties of apple trees can withstand a sharp change of weather, and can withstand up to -45 degrees of frost. Chairman of the Kazakh-Russian Friendship Association of the Russian Federation Aizhan Tuzelbekova also took part in taking care of the seedlings.
She said she has been cooperating with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan since 2015.
"I am grateful to APK that I come to Kazakhstan as a historical homeland, the homeland of my ancestors. I am pleased to take part in and support the Assembly's events. Today I was invited to participate in the planting of an apple orchard. I decided to make my small contribution to the action, not just to take part in planting of seedlings. I brought fertilizers from Russia that can help the seedlings to take root, so that the garden becomes the way it was designed. This is organic fertilizer. We will help to restore and recultivate the soil so that everything in the garden is green," said Aizhan Tuzelbekova.
