Kazakh Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantyrov at a government meeting spoke about the development of mono-towns, El.kz reports.
"For the development of the infrastructure of mono-towns in 2022, 25.8 billion tenge was allocated for the implementation of 57 projects in 28 mono-towns. As of August 1 of this year, akimats spent 9.2 billion tenge or 35.8% of the annual plan" the minister said.
In addition, in order to coordinate and adopt new measures for the development of rural areas, the Ministry of National Economy is working on the issue of developing a Concept for the Development of Rural Areas.
"The concept will contain comprehensive measures for the development of infrastructure, entrepreneurship, the agro-industrial complex, as well as to increase human resources, increase public access to the Internet and a number of other measures. At the same time, the document will provide target parameters for each of the above areas, with the definition of responsible state bodies for them," Kuantyrov said.
