On March 19, 2019, Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev has announced his resignation.
Under the leadership of the First President of Kazakhstan, the country has achieved impressive success in both economic and political fields.
According to Timur Jumurbaev, Deputy Chairman of Jangyru Joly Republican Youth Movement, Jarasym Republican Youth Association, the resignation of the First President of Kazakhstan was the beginning of a new historical stage in the life of our country.
"The subsequent transit of power has proved the validity of the political course set by Elbasy. Nursultan Nazarbayev remains with the people, continues to conduct the saturated working activity. His experience and knowledge is very important in the process of state building.
Nursultan Nazarbayev can be called the architect of modern Kazakhstan without exaggeration. Under his leadership the country from the fragments of the Soviet Union became an independent and strong state. The years of presidency were extremely tense, the country passed through economic and political formation in difficult years. But today it is hard to believe that in the 90s whole cities were left without heat, teachers and doctors did not receive salaries for months, there was no experience of conducting market economy, and Kazakhstan has not appeared on all international maps yet. In such an environment Elbasy showed perseverance and political will. The formula 'Economy first, then politics' he deduced contributed to the launch of the new Kazakhstani economy. Gradually, the country was gaining strength and deserved authority on the world arena. A major step was the transfer of the capital from Almaty to the city of Akmola. A megalopolis was built in the steppes of Central Kazakhstan almost from scratch, which was built by the world's most famous architects. Astana became the embodiment of the Kazakh dream of Independence, this city has become a center of attraction of foreign investments, tourists from all corners of the world. It is symbolic that the most beautiful and modern city built in 20 years, today bears the name of the First President and the main builder of the new capital - Nursultan Nazarbayev" said the leader of the youth movement.
As it is known, on March 1 the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan celebrated its 25-year anniversary.
This was another important decision, said Zharasym Movement Chairman.
"Kazakhstan is a multi-ethnic state; more than 130 ethnic groups live there. At the dawn of independence, multi-ethnicity was an important topic for discussion and debate. World experts predicted a split in Kazakhstani society by nationality or religion. These fears confirmed the national conflicts in other former Soviet republics. However, Nursultan Nazarbayev managed to prioritize the preservation of public harmony and unity of the people. This task was realized by the Institute of Assembly, an innovation proposed by Elbasy. Exactly due to establishment of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan people formed as a nation, and activity of Assembly received recognition of world politicians and experts. Each ethnos got an opportunity for preservation and development of its national culture. So the Assembly became a unique institution for preservation of peace and harmony in the society. Also Kazakhstan became not simply a place of confessional unity, but the center of dialogue of all world and traditional religions.
Nursultan Nazarbayev has always paid great attention to support of young people. On his initiative, the Kazakh people had the opportunity to study at the world's top universities, thanks to Bolashak programme. Nursultan Nazarbayev is always close to the youth and devotes a lot of time to communicating with young Kazakhstanis. It was by the decision of the First President that the Year of Youth was declared, which launched important instruments of social support for young people. Elbasy has always had such empathy with young people. He himself, being a young man, tried to be active, always showed his leadership qualities. On March 12, the next stage of the national expedition "By First President’s Way" was held in Karaganda Region. Elbasy's comrades-in-arms told that in 50-60s Temirtau was the center of all-Union Komsomol construction. Young people from all regions of the USSR came to Kazakhstan to build a large metallurgical plant and a new city of Temirtau. Komsomol members participated in the construction of all the most important facilities in the region, the contribution of young people to the creation of Kazakhstan Magnitogorsk is invaluable. During these years, the Komsomol leader of Temirtau was Nursultan Nazarbayev. His colleagues on work in this city, said that it is thanks to the efforts of the Komsomol under the leadership of Nazarbayev the city was awarded the Order of Red Banner of Labor in 1971. This example is remarkable. Because in any position Elbasy tried to support youth. During the years of Independence it was the youth that became the driver of further development of the country", Timur Jumurbayev concluded.
Alla Chechetkina, the speaker of XXVII Session of Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan noted that there is no secret in that all our successes and achievements are connected with a name of the First President of Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
"In the most difficult years Elbasy took on the responsible and heavy commitment of formation and development of the country. Numerous publications have appeared and books are being written, documentaries and feature films are being produced about Kazakhstan’s First President. It is logical and absolutely true, because his personality is extraordinary, causes genuine interest and is always in the spotlight.
Thanks to Nursultan Nazarbayev, the achievements and impressive results of Kazakhstan's development are constantly assessed and discussed at the world level. The First President is called the Leader of the Nation - it is universal recognition and trust of the people for his tireless work, reliability, stability.
We, the youth of Kazakhstan, the generation that was born in an independent country, should be grateful to Elbasy for the opportunity to study, work, creative initiative. The intellectual youth of Kazakhstan should make the contribution to development and prosperity of our multinational state," Chechetkina noted.
