The sociological survey was conducted from 20 July to 6 August. Respondents were asked whether they intended to participate in the voting scheduled for 23 August.

The respondents were asked the following question:

“Will you participate in the voting in the elections to the Kurultai (parliamentary elections) to be held on 23 August?”

A total of 73.1% of respondents answered in the affirmative. The Institute of Democracy notes that, in effect, 3 out of 4 respondents expressed their intention to go to the polls.

The survey covered 8,000 respondents aged 18 and over. Residents of all 17 regions and the three cities of republican significance Astana, Almaty and Shymkent took part in the survey.

Respondents were also asked to name the political party they would be prepared to vote for. The highest level of support in the survey was recorded by the Adilet party.

A total of 70.3% of respondents said they intended to vote for the party. The Auyl party ranked second, with 5.6% support.
