There are 52 schools for foster parents in 20 regions of Kazakhstan. These schools play an important role in the psychological training of citizens ready to take responsibility for the upbringing of orphans and children left without care, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Education in schools is free of charge in the format of trainings covering key psychological and social aspects.
"The training of foster parents is not only the basis for successful upbringing, but also a guarantee of the future well-being and development of children. Our schools focus on understanding the peculiarities of upbringing and the emotional needs of the child, helping to determine whether the candidate is ready for this responsible role," said chairwoman of Committee for Children Rights Protection of Ministry of Education Ospanova Nassymzhan.
