39 children born in Astana on day of national referendum

In Astana, from 12:00a.m to 03:00 p.m on October 6, 2024, 39 children were born, including 29 boys and 10 girls in Astana on day of national referendum, El.kz news agency reports with reference to the city akimat.

All newborns and their mothers are in good condition and receive the necessary care. On the day of the referendum, medical institutions of the capital organized the possibility of voting for women in obstetric departments. Special polling stations were opened right in hospitals, which allowed pregnant women and women who had given birth to make their choice without leaving medical facilities.
