According to the state electronic register, 380 licenses have been issued for tour operator activities. If we divide them by subspecies, then there are 34 licenses in the field of outbound tourism, the same number in the field of domestic, inbound and outbound tourism, and 312 licenses in the field of domestic, inbound tourism, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Previously, the state register included 1240 tour operators with licenses in paper and electronic formats. Most of them ceased operations, but continued to be listed in the register. The validity of documents that do not comply with the current legislation was terminated either by the licensees themselves or by local executive bodies.
"A lot of work has been done to update the state register, the tour operators themselves have also brought their activities in line with the current legislation. The issue of the quality of service is a priority for us. It is important for all current licensees to work within the legal framework," said Dastan Ryspekov, Chairman of the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
