22 mln tenge of budget money stolen by school accountants in Aktobe

The prosecutor's office of the city of Aktobe, during an inspection in schools, revealed facts of the of embezzlement of budget funds, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the prosecutor's office.

During 2023, in order to steal funds by accountants, funds were illegally transferred to their own accounts. The total amount of damage to the state amounted to more than 22 million tenge.

The facts of payment of budget funds to contractors who did not complete the work in full were also established.

"Pre-trial investigations have been launched on all facts of violation under Part 3 of Article 189 of the Criminal Code, the necessary examinations have been appointed," the department specified.
