The first meeting of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani Expert Council started in Nur-Sultan, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan.
The main purpose of the council is to contribute to the strengthening of a closer partnership between the analytical and research structures of the two states.
The event is held on the eve of the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Azerbaijan.
The Kazakh-Azerbaijani Expert Council includes statesmen, well-known political scientists, analysts, specialists in the field of international relations.
During the first meeting, representatives of experts of the two countries will discuss the most pressing issues of bilateral relations, the international agenda, as well as further plans for participation in joint research projects.
