Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageThe first-ever neonatal regional surgery department opened in Shymkent, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Health.
The department is staffed by a neonatal surgeon, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator and a neonatologist-resuscitator. Since the opening, doctors saved the lives of about 40 babies.
In Shymkent, the infant mortality rate in the first nine months of 2024 decreased by 30%.
