Deputy Prime Minister Of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altai Kulginov chaired the meeting discussing the issues on the construction of new large centers for the creative and intellectual development of children, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The organization of interesting and useful leisure, the creation of optimal conditions for the development and education of the younger generation is no less important than school education.
On the instructions of the President, work is being intensified in the republic to create new or reconstruct existing facilities in the regions, where schoolchildren could creatively and intellectually improve, study and relax, usefully spend their free time.
According to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, today there are 218 children's health centers in the country, 120 of them are public, 98 are private.
Until 2027, modern educational and health centers will be organized in all regions. Their appearance will significantly increase the coverage of children: in summer centers, an increase of 25% is expected annually (in 2022, 178 thousand children rested in them), in year-round centers - a total of 2 times (in 2022 they were visited by 77 thousand children).
The funds are planned to be directed from the budgets of local executive bodies through per capita financing, as well as to attract investors. The construction of 100 objects for the development of creative and intellectual potential will be carried out from the republican budget
