Head of State meets with Chairman of Asia Infrastructure Solutions Singapore Wong Heang Fine

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Chairman of Asia Infrastructure Solutions Singapore Mr. Wong Heang Fine, El.kz reports with reference to Akorda.

The meeting discussed the prospects for the implementation of the Alatau City project.

The parties exchanged views on the effective development of the new city of Alatau. Particular attention was paid to attracting foreign investment, modern technologies and competencies for the successful implementation of the project.

The President recalled that in May this year, the Master Plan of the city of Alatau, developed jointly with the Singaporean company Surbana Jurong, was adopted.

Tokayev also noted the extensive experience of Wong Heang Fine in the implementation of similar projects and expressed confidence that his recommendations, as the chief consultant, will be successfully used in the design and construction of a new city, which will become an international business hub.
