Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan discuss issues of strategic partnership

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who arrived on a working visit to Astana.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of Kazakh-Turkmen cooperation, including the state and prospects of interaction in the political, trade-economic, transit-transport, energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the schedule of upcoming international events at the highest and high levels, El.kz reports with reference to MFA.

The head of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan congratulated his Turkmen counterpart on the successful holding of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Kazakhstan, as well as the opening of a monument to the Turkmen thinker and poet Magtymguly Fragi in Astana.
