First Vice Minister of Education of Kazakhstan meets with representatives of Webster University
First Vice Minister Natalia Zhumadildayeva met with representatives of Webster University from the United States. The parties discussed issues of training, retraining and advanced training of teachers in inclusive education, El.kz reports with reference to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Natalia Zhumadildayeva stressed the importance of developing a friendly and supportive educational environment for all students, regardless of their characteristics.
"Inclusive education is not just a methodology or an approach. It is a philosophy that aims to create equal opportunities for every student, regardless of their characteristics. It is important to ensure that every child feels accepted and supported in the educational process, because this is how we create the basis for their successful future," said the First Vice Minister.
The issues of training teachers to work with children with special educational needs and the formation of an inclusive culture in educational institutions were also discussed. The parties expressed their readiness to work together and exchange experience in order to improve the quality of education and training qualified teachers and the availability of educational services for all categories of students.
