Works of famous Kazakh composer performed in heart of Washington

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United States, with the support of the Washington International Piano Arts Council, hosted an evening of classical music featuring works by the renowned Kazakh composer Nagim Mendygaliev, as well as American and European composers, El.kz cites MFA, El.kz cites MFA.

The event was attended by representatives from the U.S. Department of State, the American expert community, and notable cultural and artistic figures. Pianist Natalia Kazaryan, a maestro and co-founder of the Washington’s Classical Music Community, performed classical compositions.

Opening the event, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the U.S., emphasized the importance of utilizing art and music as tools of diplomacy that help transcend borders and foster strong relationships based on shared values and respect. He highlighted that it is a universal language capable of uniting people from diverse cultures and nationalities.

The event was not only a celebration of music but also a significant step in deepening cultural exchange and strengthening ties between the peoples of Kazakhstan and the United States.
