Tokayev meets with Speaker of National Assembly of South Korea

The Head of State met with Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea Woo Won Shik,El.kz news agency reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.

The President stressed that the first visit of Woo Won Shik as Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea is a vivid evidence of the special relations between the two countries.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the dynamic development of multifaceted cooperation with South Korea, which is one of Kazakhstan's key partners in Asia.

The Head of State expressed support for the efforts of the parties to intensify inter-parliamentary cooperation, which serves as an important mechanism for further strengthening political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties.

Woo Won-shik thanked the President of Kazakhstan for his hospitality and reaffirmed his commitment to deepening Kazakh-Korean relations across the entire spectrum of areas.

The interlocutors discussed the implementation of current and future joint projects, including in the fields of automotive, energy, industry, education and culture.

The importance of maintaining dialogue at all levels, including meetings within the framework of multilateral platforms, was emphasized.
