State of Nation Address of Kazakhstan’s President opens new opportunities in cooperation with Armenia

Within the framework of further expansion of bilateral cooperation, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev met with Head of the Department of External Relations and Protocol of the Office of the President of Armenia Tigran Samvelyan, El.kz cites MFA.

The Armenian side was familiarized in detail with the key aspects of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State of the Nation Address «Just Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism». The Head of State’s initiatives in the economic sphere aroused interest, in particular, measures to improve the investment climate, reboot the tax system and optimize measures to support small and medium-sized businesses.

Taking into account Armenia’s positive experience in the field of digitalization, Samvelyan noted the prospects for collaboration between the two countries in this area in the context of the implementation of President Tokayev’s Address.

The interlocutors «compared the notes» on topical issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda and exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming events.
