THE ISSUES OF ETHNO-SOCIAL PROCESSES IN KAZAKHSTAN TO DISCUSS IN ASTANA

Astana will hold a meeting of the Central Asian Scientific and Expert Council of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan on "Kazakhstan and Central Asia: ethno-social processes and ethno-cultural dialogue".

The purpose of the meeting is to exchange views on modern ethno-social processes in the countries of the region; identify key trends in the development of ethno-cultural dialogue in the modernization of public consciousness.

The main directions of the meeting will be the modernization of the processes of formation of state-civil, regional and ethnic identity, analysis of the determining factors of the new social reality; topical issues of ethnodemographic processes.

In addition, the participants will discuss the problems of adaptation and integration of migrants, youth issues in the ethno-cultural dialogue, as well as prospects for cooperation of Central Asian countries and issues of stable and peaceful development of Central Asia. In addition, it is planned to discuss the role of the APK in the implementation of "People to people" initiative.

The meeting will be attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, international organizations, professors of Nazarbayev University, members of Parliament, members of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, Scientific and Expert Council and ethno-cultural associations, members of scientific and expert groups of regions and departments of the Assembly of people of Kazakhstan, universities, representatives of state bodies, public figures, scientific and creative intelligentsia, non-governmental organizations, media representatives.

The meeting will be held on 30 October 2018.
