 MEMBERS OF THE ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION VISITED THE CAPITAL'S ASSEMBLY

A meeting of the Armenian delegation consisting of the members of the "Bright Armenia", "My Step", "Prosperous Armenia" parliamentary factions with the Armenian ethnocultural center "Van" of the capital's Assembly took place at the Friendship House of the capital.

The distinguished guests and representatives of the Armenian Ethno-cultural Center got acquainted with the "Analar Amanaty" exhibition and "Meeting of Mountains and Steppes" paintings of young artists fr om all over the world.

The event continued with a round table wh ere the parties exchanged views on the development of the Kazakh-Armenian cooperation. According to the Chairman of "Van" Armenian Cultural Center of APK in Nur-Sultan Saak Salumyan, "the Armenian Diaspora always feels the support of Kazakhstanis and it is, first of all, the merit of Elbasy N. Nazarbayev and the presidents of two sovereign states of Kazakhstan and Armenia".

The Mazhilismen of the Republic of Kazakhstan and members of the Armenian parliamentary factions came to the conclusion that "in order to strengthen the Kazakh-Armenian relations, it is necessary to develop the experience of exchange of students under international educational programs, to create a certain logistical corridor for trade turnover, to improve the conditions for investments and to implement joint large-scale projects".

Issues related to the work of the Armenian ethnocultural center and Sunday school were also discussed during the round table. In conclusion, the Armenian delegation expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan for the opportunity to develop the work of the Armenian ethnocultural center and the Armenian Diaspora in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
