A Unique Theatre Opened in the Capital's Friendhsip House With Plays in Three Languages

A modern capital theater "AZT" started its work in the House of Friendship with the support of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan. The new art center opened with the performance "Shakespeare's Dream".

The theatre staff consists of 15 young talents. All of them are laureates of international and national competitions. The main feature of the theatre is that it has one production in three languages. That is, before that, none of the theatres had adhered to this trend.

The performance "Shakespeare's Dream" gathered many spectators. Head of Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan Lyazzat Kusainova, head of "Kogamdyk kelisim" MPI at the Akimat of the city of Nur-Sultan Nuraly Aidashev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KazNUI Kimbat Tleuova, actress of K. Kuanyshbaev Kazakh State Academic Music and Drama Theatre Aynur Bermukhambetova, teachers of KazNUI, fans of theatrical art also congratulated on the premiere.

Critics and spectators highly appreciated the first performance. According to Kymbat Tleuova, supporting the younger generation is our main task during the Year of Youth. "Our main goal is to support young people. The modern capital's theatre will become one of the attractions of our country. We are glad that you have hope," Kymbat Tleuova said in her greeting.

For an hour and a half, songs were played, dances were performed, and the audience laughed and cried. Starting today, the theatre's staff is beginning preparations for Rakhimzhan Otarbayev's drama "Novella about a drug addict".
