Tokayev congratulates Kazakhstanis on Constitution Day

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Kazakhstanis on the Constitution Day, Akorda reports.

"Dear compatriots! I congratulate you on the Constitution Day of Kazakhstan! This year, this holiday acquires a special political significance. The results of the national referendum on constitutional amendments demonstrated the unity of our people and their strong support for large-scale reforms aimed at the comprehensive modernization of the country.

Together we are building the New Kazakhstan, guided by the principles of supremacy of the statute law, justice and equal opportunities for all.The time has come when every responsible citizen can become an active participant in reforms, contribute to the development of the state.

The values of democracy proclaimed in the Constitution, guarantees of the rights and freedoms of citizens clearly define the strategic vector of development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main goal of the planned transformations will be to improve the well-being of citizens, consistently strengthen statehood and harmonious development of society.

To accomplish these difficult tasks, our country needs each of you, dear citizens! From the bottom of my heart I wish you good health, happiness, achievement of all your goals, success for the benefit of our Motherland!", - the official congratulation says.
